Water usage is limited, and the amount of water available is shared with multiple sectors. When you build a latrine upstream, this will affect the water source downstream. Since IWRM and WASH are interlinked, it's important to cooperate. Together with two experts in the field, Evelyne Busingye (RAIN, Aidenvironment) and Tamene Chaka (Amref Health Africa Ethiopia), we discussed the importance of both IWRM and WASH, how they (can) collaborate and the next steps to be taken.
