A24 is known for its intense dramas and horror films. The Watch/Skip’ers take on A24’s latest: Eternity, a rare COMEDY about a love triangle…..in the afterlife. The high-concept rom-com comes straight from Irish indie filmmaker David Freyne and has a cast including super hotties Elisabeth Olsen, Miles Teller, Callum Turner, and Da’Vine Joy Randolph. While the concept feels like a riff on “Defending Your Life” meets "Beetlejuice" with a healthy dose of Prime’s “Upload”, is this overly cute and charming fantasy a winner replete with deep messages about love and choices and the road not taken or does it deserve to be sent to its own eternity of failed romance flicks not worthy of a first date?
