Watercolor is my Favorite Art Medium—it offers a beautiful blend of texture, transparency, and color that’s both delicate and expressive. While traditional watercolor has its own charm, I’ve also found joy in recreating that same effect digitally. Creating watercolor effects in Photoshop can be surprisingly easy with the right tools and techniques. Over time, I’ve developed several series dedicated to helping others master this art form, from crafting custom watercolor brushes to building layered styles that mimic real paper textures and paint behavior. WATERCOLOR ABSTRACT ART DESIGNS USING ADOBE PHOTOSHOP PODCAST SERIES ONE INTRODUCTION

Welcome to series one of ten of my watercolour abstract art designs using Adobe Photoshop.

My name is Phillip, I am a freelance watercolour abstractart designer using Adobe Photoshop combining traditional watercolour techniques with digital editing in Photoshop to create unique, abstract artwork. I create artwork from scratch digitally, or digitise hand-painted watercolor pieces, and then use Photoshop to refine, manipulate, and enhancethem.

In this introduction, I will talk about how I started my artjourney and why I love what I do.
