In today’s episode I am joined by the beautiful Kayla Anoku to talk about her spiritual awakening journey and how that eventually led her to the plant medicine path. We discuss Kayla’s spontaneous awakening that took place through a guided meditation and we uncover the ways she has used scripting and manifestation techniques to level up her life in every possible way. We also get into some of the pitfalls that can occur due to our own naivety in the earlier stages of spiritual awakening and the importance of doing shadow work to heal our underlying traumas.

Kayla shares her experience of deciding to sit with Ayahuasca and how the difficult parts of her journey became the exact medicine that she needed to bring her the most impactful healing. She explains how she had to release her expectations of the medicine experience in order to receive the healing that she needed.

We also discuss both of our struggles with cannabis dependency and the ways that we can shift our perspective to see cannabis as a psychedelic medicine and give her the respect she deserves.
