Welcome to Episode 5 of WeEatCNY: The Podcast! This week, we welcome Chef DeAnna Germano to talk about her food beginnings, culinary school, and the many food businesses she owns in the Central New York Area. Chef DeAnna is the founder of Chef4Rent which has recently expanded into 2 restaurants, a food truck, meal delivery service, and catering company. She is the Co Owner and Co Chef of The Chef &The Cook in Baldwinsville that will be opening soon, Chef4Rent & Cocaire at The Wayside in Elbridge. You can find Chef DeAnna on her food truck serving locally sourced inventive foods at local breweries, wineries and festivals.
She is a 40 under 40 recipient for 2017, a recipient of the Syracuse Businesswoman community achievement award for 2016, and you may have even seen her on the cover of Syracuse Magazine in July of 2017. DeAnna prides herself on locally sourced cuisine, fusion cuisine, and dabbles in baking.
