There are more then 600 million cases of human papillomavirus (HPV) in the world, with 20 million of those being here in the US. Around 56% of college-age women in new relationships are infected with HPV< according to a study led by Eduardo Franco at McGill University in Montreal. 27:00: We were wrong! As of late 2018, the FDA had expanded the approval of Gardasil 9, the HPV vaccine, to include men and women aged 27-45! Previously it had been recommended only those aged 9-26.
