Shantel Reitz was crowned Mrs Premier World 2019, and is known as the "Blue Haired Beauty Queen." Shantel's platform, "Embrace Your Inner Weirdo" is about empowering others to become
the person they were always meant to be. She says we are living our lives based on other people's idea of who we should be, making choices rooted in someone else's agenda for our lives.
Shantel shares the pain she experienced after suffering serious abuse in her childhood and wondering if she would ever be able to overcome the shame. Shantel talks about how she transformed her story from feeling like a victim, to feeling empowered to be herself. She talks about how she set boundaries and released relationships that didn't serve her.
Her story propelled her desire to help women be empowered to find and live their own their self worth. To learn how to love and care for themselves.
Shantel helps women experience exercise and fitness as a way to love themselves, not something else to shame themselves about. She teaches people to have a kind compassionate view of themselves and their health. As part of her passion for helping women Shantel created a fitness studio, Core 7, dedicated to "social fitness" which includes connection, movement, and meditation. She says they focus on women feeling comfortable in their own skin and that every "body" shape and size is beautiful and accepted in this safe space. She talks about how fitness saved her life.
At Core 7 they focus on seven elements of body and mind wellness that can be achieved to improve your ability to love yourself and own what makes you uniquely YOU.
