Welcome to ‘what are you listening to.’ The show where we talk about good music or at least music we think is good. Today we are talking about the killers. The killers just released a brand new album called ‘imploding the mirage’ - this thing is great! It’s a follow up to ‘wonderful wonderful’ which was also amazing. I heard them when they first came out in 2004 with mr Brightside. The sound was amazing. It was synth rock with come goth influence plus whatever dave was doing on guitar. You could hear Ronnie’s skills shining through from the first record (hot fuss). His drumming is passionate. I later rediscovered them through a coworker around their ‘day and age’ record. Each killers song tells such a massive story. Brandon as a frontman: live shows are incredible When Brandon sings, I believe him.
