Derek chats with Jeff Miers, music critic for the Buffalo News for almost 20 years.

Jeff was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. He has won many New York awards for journalism and was inducted into the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame.

They discuss Dylan's more than decade long use of a paragraph from Jeff's review on Bob Dylan in the Buffalo News. It was spoken my Dylan's MC at the beginning of EACH concert to introduce the music legend.

Jeff and Derek also discuss Phil Lynott, Thin Lizzy, journalism, trends in music, as well as David Bowie's use of theatrics versus today's stars use of theatrics.
