In this final lesson on biblical ecclesiology, we explore how Scripture defines true discipleship—not merely activity, events, or fellowship, but the Christ-commanded, Spirit-empowered work of making and maturing followers of Jesus. In Matthew 28, Jesus gives His church both the mission and the means: proclaim the gospel, baptize new believers into the life of the church, and teach them to obey all that Christ commanded. In this episode, we break down what discipleship is, how the church participates in it, and why Christ’s authority and presence guarantee its success.
I. Making Disciples
