Festive Frenzy in Nashville: Christmas Village, Opryland Resort, and More
Nashville is buzzing this weekend and all week long with festive energy and a spectacular lineup of events. If you’re searching for holiday spirit, Christmas Village at the Nashville Fairgrounds is a must-see through Sunday. This legendary shopping event sees 30,000 visitors and more than 250 merchants selling all kinds of holiday gifts, clothing, and home décor. General admission is fifteen dollars, and if you want to shop more than one day, you can pick up a ten-dollar return ticket before leaving. Every purchase supports local causes thanks to the event being volunteer-run by Pi Beta Phi members. According to Christmas Village’s ticket page, you’ll find doors open today from nine in the morning until nine at night, Saturday nine to six, and Sunday noon to six.

No festive roundup is complete without a stop at Opryland Resort. Celebrating its iconic light displays, Opryland transforms into a holiday wonderland with over three million twinkling lights, dazzling indoor gardens, carriage rides, photos with Santa, and even a POMP, SNOW, and CIRQUEumstance holiday circus show starting now and running through early January. Nashville Guru adds that you’ll also find immersive attractions like ice tubing and the return of “ICE!” featuring A Charlie Brown Christmas, plus breakfast with the Peanuts gang and riverboat cruises along the indoor Delta.

If pop-up bars are your thing, head to SoBro’s Pancake Pantry, where the Polar Pub is serving up festive cocktails and themed treats Thursday through Saturday evenings, five to ten. And opening tonight is The Merry Moose at the Pool Club, a cozy rooftop escape packed with rustic cabin vibes, fireside seating, and plenty of holiday cheer right in the heart of the city. Reservations are encouraged for both, especially as they’re likely to draw holiday crowds.

For music and nightlife, celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Grand Ole Opry this evening with a once-in-a-lifetime “Opry 100” show starring favorites like Kelsea Ballerini and Bobby Bones. You can upgrade your experience with premium lounge access and a backstage tour where you’ll step into the legendary Opry circle and see how the magic happens behind the scenes. The Basement East continues Nashville’s live music streak tonight with a 2000s “Hot In Herre” dance party and on Saturday with a sold-out Graham Barham and Highway Home show.

Art lovers can enjoy the last showing of Candlelight Rings and Dragons tonight at the Parthenon, blending the music of Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones by candlelight in an unforgettable setting.

Vanderbilt’s event calendar lists a taste of Ethiopia at Gojo Ethiopian Cafe Saturday night, perfect for listeners craving something unique and delicious.

Nashville, this week is truly an invitation to embrace the holiday spirit, discover new shops and music, and make joyful memories with family and friends. Thanks for tuning in, and if you love discovering the best of Nashville each week, be sure to subscribe. This has been a quiet please production, for more check out quiet please dot ai.
