On Taking the Leap

On this episode of What Would Venus Do? Stephanie, Sarah, and Kristen discuss the concept of taking the leap. Imagine if instead of actually departing to search for the new world Magellan and his crew sat in the docked ship, getting drunk and only dreaming of the new world from the safety of the shore? In order to discover something new within yourself, you must leave behind what you know and what's comfortable. You must depart on open seas, into the unknown until you cannot see the old shoreline behind you. In order to foster this true change within, you must be willing to sit with yourself in the old comfort zone or identity whilst the new identity has not yet fully been embodied. This process will bring up discomfort for sure, but it's within having the courage to be uncomfortable, and experience growing pains, that our most precious lessons are learned. This inner work is the way we evolve. Listen and take notes to this beautiful reflection on the courage to change, to dream, and lose sight of the familiar shore.
