In Episode 237 we discuss the Desire of the ages, the blessed hope of the second coming in glory of Christ the only Saviour of mankind. The world seems to have lost hope in this greatest of all events foretold in the scriptures and seems to be bent on creating their kingdom down here on earth. What about the church, the bride of Christ, has she fallen asleep? Are we passing through just another festive season celebrating the first coming of the babe in the manger or is there a rekindling of the blessed hope? Is the remnant wide awake and preaching the final message of warning and invitation with fervour or is it too slumbering while their Lord supposedly delays His coming? What will it take to wake the church up and to realize where we are in the stream of time when looking at all the fulfilled prophecies? Which prophecies are still left to be fulfilled, and what is Jesus waiting for?
