Episode #18 : The Great Dick Vincent, Innovative Montana Biologist, and why stocking is not the answer!
This episode features the life and work of Richard (Dick) Vincent.  This legendary Montana Biologist, is the man responsible for Montana's amazing Wild Trout fisheries today and for innovating sampling techniques.   He pioneered Electroshocking and set the ground work for data collection and research.  In the 1960's he found through analysis that Stocked Trout were responsible for the fishery decline in the Madison River.  Today Montana's policy is to never stock trout over wild trout and they have proven statewide that their management practices are the way to go!  In addition Alex and Johnny discuss the Peanut Envy/Circus Peanut and how to tie/fish it!
