We had a great conversation around the important work Jess does with mental health and personal training (sometimes blending together), which is sooo important in the “diet and weight loss” world. Jess has found an effective approach to helping clients begin to notice their relationship with food and reasons why they may be eating or not eating. Intuitive and mindful eating and movement is a sustainable way to achieve your health goals. Jess even worked for Noom! So she’s had quite a range of background experience that she’s either brought forward or left behind for the way she works with clients now.
Jess also shares with us what the hunger scale is and what her advice is for those just starting out on their journey or who may need to have a different perspective with their body image and health goals.
