31 vulnerability with Sylvester W. Long Jr.
"Vulnerability is not winning or losing. It's having the courage to show up when you can't control the outcome." - Brené Brown In today's episode, we get into the nitty gritty of vulnerability and with a fresh perspective on how it should be considered a strength as opposed to a weakness; the male perspective. Vulnerability is something that many people struggle with, but it was a pleasure to hear about the ups and downs of it from my guest, Sylvester W. Long Jr., as males are so often taught that "showing emotion" is associated to weakness and even fear. I am so glad to have had this beautiful discussion with Sylvester as we take a deep dive into some of our experiences with vulnerability, the individuals who have guided us along our journeys, and the practices we use to stay grounded daily. Welcome, Sylvester, to the (whole)istically you podcast!  Want to get in touch with Sylvester? Click here for his Instagram page!
