What did beer taste like 3,500 years ago? Join us as we embark on a historical brewing experiment, inspired by the fascinating discovery from the Bronze Age burial of the Egtved Girl in Denmark! We're attempting to recreate a brew based on the ancient residues found in her birch bark pot, containing wheat, lingonberries, honey, bog myrtle, and linden pollen.
Dressed as Vikings in our longhouse workshop, we take you through the entire process, from mashing grains over an open fire to the first taste test with our brave guests. Will this ancient ale be a hit or a historical miss?
Tune in to find out!
