Any move you make follows a decision you took.

Most of our decisions and thus moves are unconscious β€” that is to prevent us from decision fatigue and to help us preserve energy. So, while there are good reasons for why we don't decide on EVERYTHING, from brushing our teeth to putting one foot in front of the other, there are also downsides to it. Because some of those autopilot decisions leave us wondering: How did I end up here? And why?
