Prior to Profusa, Dr. Hwang served in a variety of leadership roles at Life Technologies Corp. (acquired by Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc.), including President of the Asia Pacific Region and Head of the qPCR Division. Prior to joining Life Technology, Dr. Hwang was a consultant with McKinsey & Company. Dr. Hwang received his MA in Biology and PhD in Biology from The Johns Hopkins University.
