Less than four months before the primary, “sheer chaos” has been unleashed in Texas. A federal court struck down the new congressional maps passed by the Texas Legislature over the summer. Republicans who filed to run in the new districts might have to rethink their plans, while Democrats who thought they had been drawn out of office might have now have a path back. Meantime, voters are stuck, yet again, in the middle.
