Ye Olde Playlist
Meghan & Juliana
18 episodes
Juliana and Meghan love talking about the good old days - specifically, the bands we listened to in college and the experiences we had when we were lucky enough to see them live. Jump ahead 20 years to present day, where we re-listen to our favorite albums of the 90s & 2000s to remember what we loved about this music, and to see how we feel about it now. We'll be covering a wide range of artists, including Blink-182, Nirvana, Tori Amos, Alkaline Trio, and so many more. Grab your favorite cheese-filled snack from the vending machine, pop open a Zima, and meet us in the lounge!

Sublime (1996)

Do all the people in the dance agree that we're well qualified to represent the LBC? Probably not, but we do love to dance to the rhythm, it gets harder. We're back after a much-needed Thanksgiving break to discuss Sublime's 1996 self-titled album.

Discussion includes: how this album gives us "beachy" vibes; that awkward moment when "Caress Me Down" comes on the radio while you're in the car with your parents; the message in "April 29, 1992" that is probably even more relevant today; what Bradley Nowell would be writing about if he were still alive today; if you love your Dalmatian, set it free... if it comes back, it was meant to be; and Edith Bunker stops by at the end of the show to throw in her two cents - which was a lot of money back in her day!

Our favorites from the album: April 29, 1992; What I Got (both versions); Garden Grove; Doin' Time; Caress Me Down
