Today we are having a conversation of provision and what it means to provide as a man. The definition of a man providing is completely different than what men provide today. Are the ways in which men used to provide even relevant to the life that we are living today. We have to be careful to listen to people who speak to our community, but do not find love there. Has the disappointment in black men contributed to the view that people have when it comes to what black men can provide? We discuss outside of a paycheck there is monetary value in the other things that men contribute to the relationship. Has the idea of respect for the man deteriorated in relationships?
