Let’s try and find a solution that doesn’t involve you thinking too hard.. because I’ve got about as much faith in you running an investment portfolio as I do in Joe Biden running a country [insert clip of joe biden saying something that makes no sense] So when it comes to stocks you’ve got index funds. Yep, these are about as idiot proof as a bottle of medised. The average stock market return is about 10%... And your odds of beating the stock market by picking your own stocks is about the same as a blindfolded monkey managing to hit a bulls eye on a darts board. An index fund picks the Michael Jordan of Stocks for you automatically – like a robotic Simon Cowell meticulously selects the next big X-Factor star If stocks don’t tickle you… right in the soft bit under your armpit – you’ve got Crypto-Currency. I love crypto… but most of these projects are going to be worth about as much as my left fingernail when all is said and done. The most defensible thing you can do is stick to Bitcoin and Ethereum.. but your still about as safe as a world war I soldier eating moldy bread in a trench that is within artillery range of the german front. Just… Learn what the following phrase means: ‘not your keys… not your crypto’ and respect it – the same way that I respect you. That was a joke. Ok and then there was property. There’s a famous saying… property doubles every 10 years. It’s kind of true. It’s kind of not true. But what definitely doesn’t double every ten years is the number of brain cells inside your skull when you keep your cash in a savings account. So buy assets or face being perpetually trapped in the rat race… That hamster wheel will turn around and around, but you won’t get anywhere. You’ll get to the age of 56 .. you’ll look at your life… your rotund body, your saggy sack and your receding hair line. And you’ll think to yourself.
