IE - Your Own Path - Amsterdam - Bart at PricewaterhouseCoopers
A graduate of the Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), Bart Friese is a Senior Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He says that studying at IE University taught him to face challenges head-on and step outside of his comfort zone.
It also made him discover what he wanted to do, inspired by professors who also worked as lawyers at the same time. Since graduating, he’s made the move to Amsterdam. He talks us through his role and the skills he gained at IE University that he now uses every day, as he guides buyers and sellers through large transactions as part of a deals team.
Bart Friese, antiguo alumno del Grado en Derecho (LL.B.), es consultor sénior en PricewaterhouseCoopers. Explica que estudiar en IE University le enseñó a afrontar los retos con decisión y lo empujó a salir de su zona de confort.
También le sirvió para saber qué quería hacer, inspirado por sus profesores, que, además de dar clase, trabajaban como abogados. Tras el grado se mudó a Ámsterdam y cuenta que, en su trabajo, tiene que poner en práctica las habilidades que adquirió en IE University todos los días, puesto que forma parte del equipo de transacciones y se encarga de asesorar a compradores y vendedores en operaciones importantes.
