Meet the crew:
🎸 Zach (bass) – Founder, groove master, and proof that losing sight doesn’t mean losing vision. From navigating blindness in young adulthood to rocking the bass like nobody’s business, Zach’s got wisdom and wicked riffs.
🥁 Alex (drums) – Started on bass, leveled up to drums, now smashing Grade 5 exams like it’s no big deal. Visually impaired since young, Alex’s independence and “why not?” attitude make him a powerhouse on and off stage.
🎤 Zyana (vocals & rhythm guitar) – Our powerhouse vocalist with a heart full of stories and a guitar that never lies. Living with tunnel vision hasn’t stopped her from crafting beautiful arrangements and lighting up any stage.
🎹 Ben (keys) – The “jukebox” pianist with Grade 8 chops, a killer smile, and a life story that redefines resilience. After two serious accidents, Ben’s motto is simple: keep playing, keep glowing.
💪 The Zelotones do it all – music, admin, PR, finances – proving that disability doesn’t define limits. We use our voices (and instruments!) to amplify PWD perspectives, spark conversations, and build a more inclusive Singapore.

We’re welcoming our third guest for the year, Ben Loo, who shares his powerful journey of living as a DeafBlind individual diagnosed with Usher Syndrome. From navigating vision (RP) and hearing loss in his early 30s to completely pivoting from life as an IT engineer, Ben opens up about facing fear, stress, and the unknown — and choosing to move forward anyway.
He talks about rebuilding confidence, finding strength through friends, staying active with things like bowling, and even landing a surprise cameo as a reflexologist in a Channel 8 drama. Proof that life doesn’t stop — it just takes unexpected turns.
And of course, it wouldn’t be Zelocast without some chaos: Alex finally meets his match as football loyalties clash — Arsenal vs Newcastle United.
