Counting the Omer has many spiritual and personal significances. Many count the days of the Omer until Shavuot, until we have received the Torah. During Pesach Seder night, we get an enormous dose of Mochin but after the first night, it is gone and every day that we count the Omer, we capture the Mochin for the year.
