The program reflects various realities of the world that may create a sense of belonging, relatability, and controversies. Raqi’s Secret files was inspired by the trend “confession” pages on Facebook. We’ve seen that there is a huge buzz created by these confessions — from its contributors all the way to its community. We’ve thought of carrying that trend from online to on-air, retaining the same level of anonymity, giving the story a voice. Listeners who desire to relieve a bit of their burden are encouraged to send their stories, making the program, Raqi’s Secret Files a safe haven to tell their secrets.
When Gloria took a waitressing job at a diner outside of Phoenix, she didn't realize she was now an employee of Midnight Burger, a time-traveling, dimension-spanning diner. Every day Midnight Burger appears somewhere new in the cosmos along with it's staff: a galactic drifter, a rogue theoretical physicist, a sentient old-timey radio, and some guy named Caspar. No one knows who built Midnight Burger or how it works, but when it appears there's always someone around who could really use a cup of coffee. "When the waves of the universe crash unrelentingly, when the stars seem indifferent to your plight, suddenly there is a diner." We open at 6.
Following the death of his twin, failing actor Jacob Kane assumes his late-brother’s life in hopes of a fresh start. Instead of finding stability, Jacob finds himself working within The [REDACTED] Unit, a covert agency tasked with containing impossible creatures and phenomena. As he becomes entangled with paranormal forces and secret agendas, Jacob begins to discover a sense of belonging in a place he never expected.
Equal parts horror and workplace comedy, [REDACTED] takes inspiration from late 90s & early 2000s television like procedural monster-of-the-week shows X-files & Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and the classic ensemble banter of Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Psych.
Structured as a supernatural procedural, [REDACTED] invites new listeners to either jump into a wild ride with the latest release, or from start from episode 1 to get the full story that ties our characters together.
