美國一家麥當勞因為嚴重缺工，竟然開始招募 14～15 歲的青少年員工！
這家位於奧瑞岡州 Medford 的麥當勞甚至直接在店門口掛出大公告👇

在美國 COVID-19 限制放寬後，許多餐廳與商家都面臨 人力供應不足 的問題。
負責經營這家麥當勞的 Heather Coleman 表示，他們家族 40 年來從沒遇過如此缺工的情況。
💵 她曾把最低時薪提高到 15 美元，但依然沒人來應徵。
❗但當她開放年齡更小的族群後，短短兩週就收到 25 份求職申請。

不只有麥當勞——
今年稍早，俄亥俄州的 Burger King 也掛出標語：
🪧「Do you have a 14 or 15 year old? We will hire them!」

此事在社群引發爭議：
不少人認為公司應該提供更高薪資、改善工作環境，
而不是把找不到員工的問題丟給更年輕的孩子。

A McDonald's in the US needs workers so badly that it's asking 14- and 15-year-olds to apply. The fast-food restaurant, which is in the city of Medford in southern Oregon, even put a sign out front saying, "Now hiring 14 & 15 year olds." After the easing of COVID-19 restrictions in the US, many restaurants and other businesses have not been able to find enough staff. Heather Coleman, who runs the restaurant, told Business Insider that in her family's 40-year history of managing different McDonald's, they've never seen such a shortage of employees. Coleman tried increasing the minimum wage to $15 an hour, but that didn't work. However, after welcoming the younger age group, she received 25 job applications in two weeks. Earlier this year, an Ohio Burger King also put up a sign that said, "Do you have a 14 or 15 year old? Do they need a job? We will hire them!" This caused a lot of debate on social media, with many people saying that instead of hiring younger people, the company should pay more or make working conditions better.
