3 Martini Lunch
Fetterman Blows Up Dem Drug Boat Narrative
Join Jim and Greg for the Wednesday 3 Martini Lunch as they unpack Sen. John Fetterman’s clarification on U.S. strikes against Venezuelan drug boats, wince at House Republicans helping Democrats push an Obamacare subsidy extension, and vent over the deeply troubling conduct of police and politicians in the Brown University shooting investigation.

First, they respond to Sen. Fetterman’s explanation that U.S. intelligence on the Venezuelan drug boats is clear and comprehensive, with American officials knowing exactly who and what is on board. Jim argues that President Trump’s national security team should declassify as much of this information as possible so the public can hear the facts directly.

Next, they groan as four House Republicans sign a discharge petition forcing a vote on the Democrats’ Obamacare subsidy extension bill. If it passes, pressure will immediately shift to Senate Republicans to follow suit. Jim questions what the point of the shutdown fight was if this is the inevitable outcome, while Greg asks why Republicans in competitive districts can’t offer a stronger alternative instead of aligning with Democrats.

Finally, they react to the latest, deeply unreassuring statements from officials overseeing the Brown University shooting investigation. Authorities refuse to say what students told them the shooter said before opening fire and are openly scolding reporters for asking questions they don't like.

3 Martini Lunch
FBI Foils Far-Left Terror Plot
Join Jim and Greg for the Tuesday 3 Martini Lunch, as they serve up all good martinis and discuss the FBI thwarting a major terrorist plot, another conservative elected president in South America, and growing outrage in Minnesota over massive welfare fraud and Gov. Tim Walz’s handling of the scandal.

First, they applaud the FBI for thwarting a chilling plot by the Turtle Island Liberation Front to carry out a coordinated bombing campaign across Los Angeles beginning on New Year’s Eve. Authorities describe the group as pro-Palestine, anti-government, and anti-capitalist. Jim and Greg are grateful for the arrests and are reminded that evil people love to plan horrible things around the holidays.

Next, they celebrate the election of conservative Jose Antonio Kast as the next president of Chile. While the media absurdly label him as "far-right," Kast is a conservative Catholic who wants to crack down on crime and secure the border. He's also called a neo-liberal on economics, which means he's for smaller government, free markets, and deregulation. Seems like a leader the U.S. might be able to work with.

Finally, they discuss new polling from Minnesota showing deep voter frustration with the state’s sprawling welfare fraud scandal. Nearly 80 percent of residents say it is a major problem or the worst problem facing the state, while just 14 percent believe Gov. Tim Walz has handled it well. Jim questions whether Minnesota Democrats will abandon Walz in 2026 or continue standing by him despite the growing scandal.

3 Martini Lunch
Murder and Mayhem: Bondi Beach, Brown University, Rob Reiner
Join Jim and Greg for the Monday 3 Martini Lunch as they confront four devastating news stories, including the massacre at a Hanukkah festival in Australia, American service members killed in Syria, a mass shooting at Brown University, and the shocking murders of actor and director Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele.

First, they lay out the details of the apparent Islamist attack at Bondi Beach in Australia, where at least 15 people were killed and dozens more wounded when a father and son opened fire on a Hanukkah festival crowd. Jim and Greg also hammer Australian political leaders for falling back on predictable left-wing talking points instead of confronting the ideology behind the violence.

Next, they dig into the details of the mass shooting at Brown University over the weekend that left at least two people dead and several others seriously wounded. Jim and Greg are also disturbed by the lack of apparent leads in the case while authorities keep insisting there's no further danger to the community.

Finally, they react to the brutal murders of Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele, at their home near Los Angeles. Police and politicians are also struggling to stay on the same page in this case. Despite Reiner's very public left-wing politics, right-leaning social media has been very respectful in response to this horrific news, with one notable exception.

3 Martini Lunch
The Taliban Is Really Enjoying Your Tax Dollars
Join Jim and Greg for the Friday 3 Martini Lunch, as they serve up three lousy but important martinis. They chronicle how lots of your tax dollars are being used to help the Taliban and its allies, Indiana Republicans refusing to change the congressional map, and Marjorie Taylor Greene trying to cause as much chaos as possible on her way out of Washington.

First, they explain how many millions of our tax dollars are spent every day to help needy women and children in Afghanistan through the United Nations. But there's a problem: The Taliban controls how the money is spent. So their allies get lots of help while everyone else gets the shaft.

Next, they react to the Republican-controlled Indiana State Senate rejecting a new congressional map that might have given the GOP a chance to win all nine House seats in the Hoosier state.

Finally, they shake their heads as Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene reportedly wants to boot House Speaker Mike Johnson before she exits Congress in January.

3 Martini Lunch
Erika Kirk Condemns Contemptible Conspiracies
Join Jim and Greg for the Thursday 3 Martini Lunch as they tackle Erika Kirk’s fierce pushback against conspiracy theories surrounding her husband’s murder, President Trump’s plan to block states from regulating artificial intelligence, and why so many people seem horrified by large families.

First, they applaud Erika Kirk for publicly condemning Candace Owens and others promoting baseless claims that Charlie Kirk’s murder was an inside job at Turning Point USA. Although not mentioning Owens or anyone else by name, Kirk denounced the accusations as dangerous, unhealthy, and driven by a “mind virus.” Jim says she shouldn’t have to defend her family from such nonsense but he appreciates her speaking out.

Next, they shake their heads as President Trump prepares an executive order barring states from regulating artificial intelligence. Trump argues the U.S. needs a single national standard, not fifty, when it comes to AI. Jim points out that an executive order cannot stop state legislation. A congressional statute could do that but Congress hasn't even begun to address AI. Both Jim and Greg say protecting personal liberty should take priority over staying ahead in the AI race.

Finally, they discuss the case of Philip Rivers, the longtime NFL quarterback who signed with the Indianapolis Colts practice squad nearly five years after retiring. The news has also revived widespread social media mockery of Rivers because he has ten children. Why are so many people angry or uncomfortable with the idea of large families?

3 Martini Lunch
House Dem Calls America the 'Great Satan'
Join Jim and Greg for the Wednesday 3 Martini Lunch as they vent over Senate Republicans being far too generous in extending Obamacare subsidies, Georgia Rep. Hank Johnson calling America the “Great Satan,” and the mainstream media suddenly embracing Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene now that she’s feuding with President Trump.

First, they shake their heads as Senate Republicans propose extending the “emergency” COVID-era Obamacare subsidies for adults making up to seven times the federal poverty level. The GOP plan does change how the subsidies are delivered and it's better than the Democrats' plan. But should there be a plan at all for an emergency that ended years ago?

Next, they unload on Rep. Hank Johnson. Formerly just comic relief in Congress for asking things like whether a greater U.S. military presence on Guam would make the island tip over, Johnson is now openly calling the U.S. "the Great Satan," echoing terrorist groups and their benefactors in Iran.

Finally, they marvel at the sudden mainstream media fascination with Marjorie Taylor Greene. After years of dismissing her as extreme, reporters are now eager to interview her as long as it fans the flames of GOP infighting with President Trump.

3 Martini Lunch
Democrats Release Violent Illegals to 'Resist' Trump
Join Jim and Greg for the Tuesday 3 Martini Lunch as they break down why gas prices are overwhelmingly cheaper in Republican-led states, how Democrats like Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker seem to think releasing criminal illegals is a great way to defy President Trump, and Jasmine Crockett's odd launch to her U.S. Senate campaign.

First, they examine new AAA data showing that gas prices in red states are consistently lower than in blue states. Twelve of the sixteen most expensive states are run by Democratic governors, while eight of the ten cheapest states are led by Republicans. Jim walks through all the factors that determine gas prices and why blue states are regularly more expensive.

Next, they unload on Democrats such as Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker for eagerly resisting President Trump to the point of releasing criminal illegal immigrants so Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) cannot detain them. Jim and Greg warn that these decisions put violent offenders back into communities simply to score political points. Will they pay a price in 2026?

Finally, they dissect Rep. Jasmine Crockett’s unusual launch to her Texas U.S. Senate bid, consisting only of a video of herself overlaid with clips of President Trump mocking her. She also argues she’ll win because non-white voters are a majority in Texas. Jim and Greg remind her that a lot of those non-whites vote for Republicans, as evidenced by every major statewide race for more than 30 years.

3 Martini Lunch
Republicans Need to Go on Offense!
Join Jim and Greg for the Monday 3 Martini Lunch as they discuss excellent advice from Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis to the GOP Congress, the concerning percentage of people on the right buying into conspiracy theories, and the absurd arguments from Rep. Ilhan Omar in response to the massive Minnesota welfare scandal.

First, they cheer Gov. DeSantis for urging Republicans in Washington to focus on the economy and immigration and to bring many more conservative pieces of legislation to the floor that are popular with the American people. Some bills might pass and the others will put Democrats in a difficult spot the next time they run for re-election. So why isn't this happening?

Next, they dig into Jim's column looking at the percentage of people who align with the right and embrace conspiracy theories like 9/11 was an inside job, the moon landing was faked, and the Holocaust was either greatly exaggerated or didn't happen as historians claim. Why is this happening and what does it mean for the future of the political right?

Finally, they rip Rep. Omar for blaming everyone except the actual criminals in the Minnesota welfare scandal. She blames a rushed process for setting the stage for all the fraud. And wait until you hear who she blames if any of the money ended up with terrorists in Somalia. And they also highlight the pathetic attempt of Face the Nation host Margaret Brennan to make the GOP the villain in this story

3 Martini Lunch
FBI Finally Arrests DC Pipe Bomb Suspect
Join Jim and Greg for the Friday 3 Martini Lunch as they discuss an arrest in the 2021 Washington, D.C., pipe bomb case, the fierce debates over one of the U.S. strikes against a Venezuelan drug boat, and another colossal waste of your tax dollars.

First, they applaud the FBI and other law enforcement for finally arresting the likely culprit behind the January 2021 pipe bombs left outside the Republican National Committee and Democratic National Committee headquarters in Washington. Jim and Greg walk through how investigators connected the dots and why Jim sees this as a win for diligent police work and a clear rebuttal to conspiracy theories.

Next, they dive into the fierce debate surrounding the September U.S. attack on a Venezuelan drug boat. Early media reports claimed Secretary of War Pete Hegseth ordered the killing of everyone aboard, prompting multiple strikes. Later reporting sharply contradicts that narrative. Jim says the administration should have laid out the full story from the beginning, but, unlike some Democrats, Jim and Greg shed no tears for the dead drug traffickers.

Finally, they sigh at reports that the U.S. Postal Service spent $3 billion of our tax dollars to procure 35,000 new mail trucks but only 612 were made. That's almost $5 million per truck. Jim and Greg fume over the government waste and explain how the government is incapable of being a good steward of our money

3 Martini Lunch
'Dead People' Costing Taxpayers Billions in Obamacare Fraud
Join Jim and Greg for the Thursday 3 Martini Lunch as they break down President Trump rolling back Joe Biden’s fuel-economy mandates on automakers, a stunning new report on widespread Obamacare fraud, and Gov. Gavin Newsom’s push to tax former California residents to plug his state’s massive budget deficit.

First, they applaud President Trump for scrapping the Biden administration’s burdensome fuel-economy standards. The move will likely lower costs and will almost certainly save lives. Jim and Greg unload on Democrats who want to limit our choices on the vehicles we drive and in other areas of life.

Next, they groan as a Government Accountability Office (GAO) report shows that the government accepted 100 percent of fraudulent Obamacare exchange applications that the GAO submitted as part of its investigation. In addition, the actual Obamacare fraud happening in the system is costing taxpayers billions of dollars and much of it happens when applicants use the Social Security numbers of dead people.

Finally, they laugh as California Gov. Gavin Newsom attempts to fix his state’s budget disaster by taxing people who have already moved away. Jim turns to a classic song to underscore how absurd the idea is, and he hopes someone sues the state if lawmakers actually pass the plan.

3 Martini Lunch
Voters Send Behn Campaign Down the Drain
Join Jim and Greg for the Wednesday 3 Martini Lunch as they assess the political defeat of Aftyn Behn in Tennessee, President Trump's comments on affordability, and a call for Al Gore to run for president again.

First, they celebrate the victory of Republican Matt Van Epps by nine points over far-left lunatic Aftyn Behn in the special Tennessee congressional election. The margin was narrower this time than in 2024, but Jim says this is a solid win in a special election. They also consider the likelihood that the Democrats will be running scores of young radicals like Behn in next year's midterm elections.

Next, they wince a bit as President Trump refers to "affordability" as a "con job by the Democrats." It's true the left is constantly using the term, has no real plans to reduce the cost of living, and is responsible for the horrible inflation jump in the Biden years. But they're also concerned that voters may interpret Trump as simply dismissing the stubbornly high cost of living.

Then, they get a kick out of a small push for former Vice President Al Gore to run for president again in 2028. That's not going to happen, but it gives Greg another opportunity to dust off his Gore impression. Jim suggests Gore would probably seem reasonable compared to the likely batch of candidates in 2028. Greg suspects Gore has shifted just as far left as they have.

Finally, Jim and Greg share the difficult news revealed by a good friend of the 3 Martini Lunch and how you can encourage him.

3 Martini Lunch
Is Social Security Eight Years from Extinction?
Join Jim and Greg for the Tuesday 3 Martini Lunch as they dig into Republicans pushing solutions to America’s cost-of-living problems, Great Britain scrapping jury trials for many criminal cases, and the approaching implosion of Social Security.

First, they applaud Montana Sen. Tim Sheehy for highlighting that the cost of living is too high for many Americans, especially in housing, grocieries, and medical care. In his Wall Street Journal op-ed, Sheehy dismisses Democrats’ strategy of pouring more money into every problem and instead calls for deregulation, health-care price transparency, and other market-based reforms.

Next, they blast the British government for eliminating jury trials for defendants likely to face three years or less in prison if convicted. The excuse is that there is a huge backlog in British courts. Jim and Greg blast the lefties in the UK for this attack on a fundamental part of western justice and point to ways this change could easily be used to punish political opponents of the current government.

Finally, they react to stark projections that Social Security could collapse in just eight years without serious reform. Both parties have ignored the problem for decades. The left will eventually want to raise taxes, and no one will want reduced benefits. Jim says Congress missed a good opportunity to help fix this problem twenty years ago. And he points out one other group to blame for the problem getting so bad.

3 Martini Lunch
Is Tim Walz in Big Political Trouble?
Join Jim and Greg for the Monday 3 Martini Lunch as they break down Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz facing intense backlash over a massive welfare fraud scandal, California’s latest proof that minimum wage hikes only make things worse, and Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett sounding increasingly like a 2026 U.S. Senate candidate.

First, they’re encouraged to see even the New York Times hammering Gov. Tim Walz for failing to stop hundreds of millions of dollars in public assistance fraud on his watch. It's partly because the evidence is irrefutable, but Jim also says the political handwriting is on the wall for last year's Democratic vice presidential nominee.

They also point to new data showing California’s $20 fast-food minimum wage is playing out exactly as critics predicted. The state lost 19,000 fast-food jobs over the past year while menu prices surged. Jim and Greg explain yet again why this policy cannot work but also question whether Democrats will ever learn.

Finally, they rub their hands with glee as Rep. Jasmine Crockett signals she’s preparing a U.S. Senate run in Texas next year. Jim and Greg look at the likely Democratic field and the potential for a fiery GOP primary too. They're both pretty skeptical that Crockett could win statewide or even keep it fairly close.

3 Martini Lunch
Black Friday Political Gifts for 2025
Join Jim and Greg for a special Friday 3 Martini Lunch as they reveal their Black Friday gift choices for political figures, from lawmakers to voters and from podcasters to a former president.

First, Jim has multiple gift ideas for Candace Owens in response to her assertions of major conspiracies related to the assassination of Charlie Kirk, including suggestions of an inside job from Kirk's own organization and claiming that Kirk himself confirmed her suspicions in her dreams. Greg offers a practical gift for Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer. He also has a gift for all Senate Democrats who seem to think that they have to use profanity to make their points.

Next, Jim has multiple gifts in mind for radical Maine U.S. Senate hopeful Graham Platner, who has struggled since revealing he's been wearing a Nazi-related tattoo for nearly two decades. Greg has a gift for every New York City resident now that they're about to experience four years of Mayor Zohran Mamdani. Just so they know what to expect.

Finally, Jim has a gift for Greg and himself based on the very disappointing election results in Virginia this month. Greg has a useful gift for Barack Obama, UN Secretary General Antonio Gutteres and anyone else actively trying to stifle online speech they find inconvenient.

3 Martini Lunch
Encore: Jim in India: What They Think of Trump, the China Threat, & More
As you settle in for your Thanksgiving feast and time with family and friends, Jim and Greg are spending the day with their loved ones as well. But we still have you covered! Today, we revisit Jim's report  from his October trip to India, including how the opportunity arose and why it happened now. He also explains how Indians are currently viewing the Trump administration and the overall relationship between India and the U.S. as well as the emerging threat from China.

First, Jim shares how he got invited on the trip, the significance of the timing, and more. He also goes into detail about the RSS, a powerful group in Indian politics that is closely connected to current Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Next, Jim details how Indian officials currently view the United States and President Trump. Some strain has emerged in the relationship over the past year, but it has less to do with the tariffs applied by Trump and more to do with how the administration intervened in the tensions between India and Pakistan earlier in the year.

Finally, Jim reveals how India is watching China's relentless military buildup with increasing concern, both in terms of a possible invasion of Taiwan and India's own border problems with the Chinese. And, of course, Jim offers some additional humor and flavor from his visit to the world's most populous nation.

3 Martini Lunch
Borders, Bombing Iran's Nukes, & More: What We're Politically Thankful For
As you get ready to celebrate Thanksgiving, join Jim and Greg for the Wednesday 3 Martini Lunch. They each reveal three things or people they are politically thankful for in 2025.

First, Jim applauds a reporter who broke the most significant political scoop of the year. And while it didn't change the outcome of the election, it does give Virginians clear eyes on what to expect over the next four years. Meanwhile, Greg applauds the Trump administration for getting it's most important policy priority done right - and almost instantly after taking office.

Next, Jim has some fun and says he's thankful that he's not on the hook for designing secure facilities In Iran that turned out not to be so secure this year. Jim also utters a line likely to shock President Trump's staunchest supporters and his fiercest critics. Greg focuses on the homefront and is glad there is a backstop of sanity to deal with the blizzard of ridiculous rulings from federal judges playing politics from the bench.

Finally, Jim is thankful for the establishment of honorable journalistic principles in a news cycle where reporters like Olivia Nuzzi are taking a blowtorch to any notion of ethical reporting. And Greg thanks outgoing Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin for four years of sanity as we buckle up for four years of dumpster fires from the Democrats.

3 Martini Lunch
Elon X-Poses Online Frauds
Join Jim and Greg for the Tuesday 3 Martini Lunch as they enjoy watching social media accounts purporting to be Americans get exposed for being based overseas. They also respond to Rep. Eric Swalwell claiming that people vote by phone all over the country and shake their heads at still more insanity from Tennessee Dem Aftyn Behn.

First, they applaud Elon Musk for the new feature revealing where X accounts are based. It's exposed some prominent MAGA accounts with no personal names to be based in foreign countries. Also, people claiming to be reporters based in Gaza were discovered to be in several different countries. Jim and Greg offer some helpful tips to avoid getting lured in by these sorts of accounts.

Next, they slam Rep. Swalwell, who is now running for Governor of California. In an interview on CNN, Swalwell said he wants Californians to be able to vote through their phones because it's already happening in many places across the country. No, it's not. Jim and Greg also do a quick review of the Democrats in the governor's race and warn Californians that whomever emerges from the primary will be bad news for the state.

Finally, they serve another martini on Aftyn Behn, the Democrat running in a special congressional election in Tennessee next week. In addition to comments that she hates Nashville (which is in the congressional district) and country music, she would not walk back anti-police comments from 2020. Now, there is audio of Behn saying she doesn't want children, she wants power, while explaining why she believes women should not have children. Oh, and there's yet another example of her screaming while protesting and being dragged away.

3 Martini Lunch
Will Democrats Soon Have a House Majority?
Join Jim and Greg for the Monday 3 Martini Lunch as they break down the latest insane comments from Tennessee Democrat congressional candidate Aftyn Behn, the confusion over whether the Russia-Ukraine peace plan came from the U.S. or Russia, and the impending resignation of Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, and whether several more Republicans in Congress will soon follow her lead.

First, they’re stunned as Behn refuses to walk back her 2020 tweets calling for abolishing the Nashville police and endorsing the burning of police stations. Video has also surfaced of her shrieking in protest at the Tennessee legislature before she became a state lawmaker.

Next, Jim fumes over the peace deal sponsored by Russia that many in the U.S. and Europe thought was the U.S.-backed plan. Secretary of State Marco Rubio strongly denies that and now says significant progress is being made towards peace at negotiations in Europe. But Jim warns that Moscow has a long track record of violating agreements — and expects nothing different this time.

Finally, they dissect the falling out between President Trump and soon-to-be former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and what lessons it provides. They also react to reports that several more GOP House members could resign in the coming months, possibly in large enough numbers to swing the House majority to the Democrats.

3 Martini Lunch
Taxpayers are Funding Somali Terrorists
Join Jim and Greg for the Friday 3 Martini Lunch as they break down a Democratic congressional candidate trashing the city she wants to represent, the escalating clash over Democrats urging the military to defy President Trump, and shocking revelations about taxpayer money ending up with Somali terrorists.

First, they laugh as Democrat Tennessee congressional hopeful Aftyn Behn blasts Republicans for claiming Behn hates Nashville, which is in the district she wants to represent. But Behn's problem isn't with Republicans, it's the audio that still exists of her saying she hates Nashville, the constant bachelorette parties, and even country music.

Next, they dig into the comments from lawmakers who cut a video urging members of the military to disobey illegal orders from President Trump. Of course, they cannot point to a single illegal order Trump has issues. Meanwhile, Trump is accusing them of sedition and pointing out that crime can be punishable by death. Jim decimates the empty and false argument the Democrats are peddling and tells Trump he doesn't have to go nuclear over everything.

Finally, they dig into the exploding fraud within Minnesota’s welfare programs, where budgets that were just a few million dollars a few years ago have now ballooned into the hundreds of millions. Even worse, large sums are reportedly flowing to Somali terrorists. Jim stresses that this massive breakdown has taken place under Gov. Tim Walz’s watch.

3 Martini Lunch
Craziness in Congress: Indictment, Allegations, & a Hate Crime Hoax
Join Jim and Greg for three stories of congressional chaos on the Thursday 3 Martini Lunch, as they break down the indictment of a Florida Democrat, the allegations facing a Florida Republican, and a shocking case of a House staffer accused of staging a hate crime

First, they examine the federal indictment of Florida Democrat Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick, who is accused of pocketing $5 million in federal Covid-19 disaster assistance and allegedly funneling some of the money into her congressional campaign. The congresswoman gets the presumption of innocence but this evidence looks pretty clear.

Next, they detail the serious accusations leveled against Florida GOP Rep. Cory Mills, including alleged mistreatment and threats toward women, improper involvement in federal contracting, and even claims of stolen valor tied to his Army service. Mills denies all of the allegations and says he can prove he's not guilty. Fellow Republican Rep. Nancy Mace is leading the charge against Mills and wants him censured.

Finally, Jim and Greg dig into the disturbing case of a staffer for New Jersey Republican Rep. Jeff Van Drew. Prosecutors say she falsely reported being the victim of a hate crime by people who hate President Trump and her boss. Evidence shows she even paid to have someone significantly scar her body in order to make the scam more believable.
