Y'all know what time it is... it's October which means halloween which means spooky scary skeletons and shivers down your spine which means yet another episode from R.L. Stine's oeuvre. It's basically an annual tradition at this point. Let's just say, after watching this ep, I'm in the midst of crafting a front lawn skeleton display that involves a BBQ and a chef's hat.

This week, we're putting on our lil detective caps and popping some pills before heading to the hospital to slag off some patients and then committing a b & e - ya know, just an average day! Fun fact, turns out that breaking into homes is an integral element to diagnostics - duh... it's elementary my dear!

Despite the fact we've made our stance on "Heaven & Hell TV" very clear (we hate it)- we continue to delve into this genre, to explore why anyone would like it. Our conclusion? We still don't know! But at least this week's specimen centers around a charismatic angel that Maddy credits as being the HEIGHT of comedy for her as a kid.

In this last week of summer before school starts, we figured we'd live it up as if it were our last day on earth as beautiful but most importantly THIN supermodels before dying in a goof troupe orange truck incident and coming back to life as dowdy but most importantly FAT lawyers. IYKYK.

One might say that the heat this summer has been... out of this world (wink)... and we couldn't help but wonder (Carrie Bradshaw)... is there other life out there?!? Are we alone?! IS THE GOVERNMENT HIDING SOMETHING FROM US?! Just the classic stuff. So we obvs turned to our greatest academic resource - network television.

It's been a freaking CENTCH since we've covered a full feature-length film so we figured what better way to get back into the swing of things than to kick things off with the OG quintessential stoner classic that captured the imagination of elementary aged children across the globe. Pour yourself a glass of goof juice hunny!

It's PEAK summertime baby and your girls are finally getting in the spirit, kicking back with a new POW that is PERFECT for a dock lounge. This week we're throwing it way back to a nostalgia classic that, despite the sinister undertones, was clearly created by a cuteness and comedic genius- GET INTO IT!!!

This week's ep is basically the epitome of the thesis statement of this pod which is "wow the whole world and everyone in it seemed completely different and good when we were kids but it actually turns out everything we thought was wrong"! Let's just say, the Frizz and her penchant for wacky field trips looks hella different in the harsh light of adulthood...

With temps getting into the 40s and your girls going to Weird Al concerts, let's just say, things have been getting FREAKY this summer... And they're about to get FREAKIER even! WE'RE BACK- but not better than ever, *sonically* that is... This ep doesn't have our usual pristine audio quality you're accustomed to because of some mic issues BUT the hilarity in this ep compensates for it- we promise!!! Not to mention, some extremely brilliant philosophical findings were discovered sooooo if you're looking for genius-level wisdom, you've come to the right place.
