Not all flowers smell nice. Some use their colors or stinky smells to get different insects, like flies or beetles, to help make seeds.

Flowers are very old. The first flower on Earth appeared over one hundred million years ago! They help many insects and animals get food and shelter.

Flowers are not just pretty to look at. They are important for life on Earth!
