نود من خلال هذه الرسالة أن نُعلمكم بما يحدث حالياً وما نعيشه في منطقتنا، محافظة آتشيه تِنغارا في إقليم آتشيه. فنحن نواجه في هذه الأوقات كارثة كبيرة، وهي فيضانٌ جارِف شلَّ تقريباً كامل جزيرة سومطرة. وفي محافظة آتشيه تِنغارا تحديداً، غمرت المياه منازلنا، وجرف السيل بعضها، كما فقد الكثير من الناس أرواحهم. وقد تعرّضت مزارع وحقول الأرز الخاصة بالمزارعين للتلف، مما تسبب بخسائر تُقدّر بمئات الملايين من الروبيّه. لذلك نود أن ندعوكم جميعاً للتبرع. لقد فتحنا باب التبرعات بهدف مساعدة إخواننا من بني البشر، والتعاون فيما بيننا.
حالياً، ما تزال بعض المناطق تغرق في الظلام الدامس بسبب انقطاع الكهرباء وشبكات الإنترنت. كما انقطعت الطرق البرية، ونحن عالقون في المنطقة الوسطى من مركز الإجلاء. ونعتمد في بعض الأحيان على كهرباء مولّد يعمل بالبنزين، مما يسمح لنا بتشغيل الواي فاي بين الحين والآخر، بل وحتى استخدام ستارلينك الخاص بإيلون ماسك أحياناً.

With this message, we would like to inform you about what is currently happening and what we are experiencing in our region, Southeast Aceh Regency, Aceh Province. At this moment, we are struck by a major disaster, a flash flood that has paralyzed almost the entire island of Sumatra. In Southeast Aceh Regency, our houses have been submerged, some have been swept away by the current, and many lives have been lost. Many farmers’ plantations and rice fields have failed to harvest, causing losses of hundreds of millions of rupiah. Therefore, we intend to invite all of you to donate. We are opening this donation to help our fellow human beings as brothers and sisters, to support and assist one another.
Currently, several areas are still in complete darkness, with electricity and internet networks cut off. Road access has been severed, and we are trapped in the middle area of the evacuation post. Only occasionally do we have electricity from a gasoline-powered generator, allowing the WiFi to work temporarily, even using Elon Musk’s Starlink at times.
