Season One of "A Bedtime Story" concludes with an epic fantasy adventure as Sichas the wizard moves between realities in order to save the magic of his own world.

Librarian Mr. Caspian Clutterbuck accidentally locks himself in the Grand Reading Hall overnight. When the clock strikes midnight, he discovers that the entire non-fiction section of books floats in the air and begins to mingle, desiring a midnight break from their serious topics. Caspian spends the rest of the night chaperoning the silent, floating, and surprisingly chaotic book party.

Dog groomer Ms. Vivian accidentally gives Patches the poodle a magical haircut, turning his white fur into a constantly changing, 3D meteorological map. Patches becomes the town's most accurate weather forecaster, predicting a dramatic hail storm and saving the Grand Town Fair attendees from a sudden thunderstorm when his entire body glows orange with an emergency warning.

Arthur, a gardener, buys an antique teapot that translates the thoughts of his plants. Instead of hearing philosophical insights, he discovers his rosemary bush is obsessed with the vulgarity of squirrels and petunias, the thyme is whiny, and the giant philodendron is furious about not being rotated clockwise. Arthur realizes his plants are far more dramatic than he imagined.

Leo finds a wishing well that grants every wish, but the result is always a highly specific, strange, and symbolic sandwich. His wish for a mountain of gold results in a tuna sandwich between diamond-shaped waffles, and his wish for ice cream results in a cucumber-horseradish sandwich with a bicycle light. Even when he wishes for a normal roast beef sandwich, the bread turns out to be knitted yarn, and the mustard is paper.

The story follows Octavia the octopus, a clever but slow racer in the annual Sunken Spire Relay. Instead of relying on speed like her competitors, Marvin the Marlin and Clara the Crab, Octavia uses her environment and ingenuity. She first folds herself into a kite shape to ride a deep-sea current, then leverages a school of slow-moving snapper fish as reluctant propulsion. Finally, she uses a sturdy coral pillar as a slingshot to launch herself over the final obstacle, winning the race using strategy rather than direct effort.

Bradley the beaver, an obsessive geometric perfectionist, attempts to build a perfectly circular dam with the help of his lazy muskrat partner, Murray. Murray repeatedly sabotages the design by using messy materials and refusing to follow the precise angles. Bradley works all night to nearly achieve perfection, but Murray spoils the circle at the last moment by removing a stick to create a comfortable, leaky spot for his hammock.

Leo, the lighthouse keeper, is terrified of the dark and struggles to turn off the light every morning, inventing excuses like "Reverse Fog" and "Invisible Pirates" to justify his excessive use of the lamp. His problem is solved when he spots a massive, sunken bronze bell in the shipping lane. He uses the powerful light as a necessary "Visual Anchor Alert" to warn ships, finally giving him a legitimate reason to keep the light running all day.

Bella joyfully celebrates her birthday, receiving a treasured collection of beautiful honey jars which she lovingly displays around her den. Her boyfriend, Beau, then surprises her with a trip around the forest to sample three unique kinds of wild honey, leaving Bella feeling incredibly happy and loved by day's end.

In Whisper Creek, dogs turn purple and meow whenever someone tells a lie. During a casserole competition, the village gossip, Mrs. Penelope Petunia, repeatedly lies about her dish, causing all the dogs, including a massive Mastiff named Duke, to change color and produce hilarious cat sounds until she finally confesses the truth.

Percy the pigeon, an overly confident but poor pilot, is hired to deliver a secret scroll exactly six blocks west. Because he can only fly straight up and drop, he achieves the distance by falling down an exactly six-block-offset chimney, delivering the package to the delighted Countess while covered in soot.

Walter the postman, who hates squirrels due to their erratic nature, is assigned to deliver "Royal Walnuts" to the high-strung Mr. Silas Scamper. Silas panics, claiming the Royal Walnuts are too light and will ruin his winter nut-map. He convinces the grumpy Walter to run around his nest six times while holding the nuts, generating enough friction and velocity to simulate the weight of the heavier "Majestic Walnuts."

Winifred, a witch whose spells always turn into musical theater, attempts to turn an annoying puddle into cobblestone. Instead, her spell creates a full-blown Broadway show in the water, complete with a singing lead and a tap-dancing bubble chorus. After failing to reverse the spell, Winifred ends the performance by applauding, causing the spectacular musical number to vanish back into a normal puddle.

Theodore, a very slow and shy tortoise, dreams of winning the local Rattle-Can Rally. With the help of his otter friend Ollie, Theodore uses a high-powered garden hose to give himself a "turbo boost" of water pressure. He overcomes his slowness and shyness, wins the chaotic race in a spectacular splash, and earns the nickname Theodore the Turbo Turtle.

Rex Jr., a tiny Microraptor dinosaur, has a demanding palate and will only eat miniature versions of human food. He tasks his owner, Maya, with creating a three-course meal: spaghetti and meatballs, pizza, and lemon meringue pie, all made with ingredients the size of pinheads and poppy seeds. Rex Jr. thoroughly enjoys his sophisticated, minuscule feast, even turning up his nose at a regular-sized potato chip offered by a mouse friend.

Priscilla the highly organized puppy panics when she forgets the burial spot of her prized "Emergency Bone." After frantically searching all her other meticulously organized hiding spots, she collapses onto her bed in despair. She then discovers the bone was hidden inside the bed, along with a note from her "Future Self" advising her to "chew immediately" because she is clearly stressed and needs to relax.

Willis the garden sprite tries to create a gentle drizzle for his ferns using his new, unwieldy Wand of Whimsical Weather. Instead of rain, the wand produces bizarre effects like boiling hot, purple lemonade and tiny ice sculptures of historical figures. When Willis tries to cast the most boring spell imaginable, the wand grants the ferns tiny silver accordions whose mournful music makes the surrounding dirt cry, perfectly watering the plants.

Penelope the penguin hates the cold and fish and dreams of having a permanent, warm, indoor picnic. She sets up a cozy picnic area in an abandoned shipping container and struggles to find appropriate food. She convinces Winston the Walrus, a food hoarder, to give her dried kelp squares, which she turns into "Seaweed and Snow Sandwiches," successfully creating a charming, fish-free, civilized environment.

Agent Pepper Pounce, an elite housecat spy, is tasked with guarding a top-secret pineapple from "The Phantom of the Fruit Fly." After failing to catch the speedy insect with a direct swat, Agent Pounce uses psychological warfare, taunting the vain Phantom into attempting a difficult, boastful approach—flying directly down the pineapple's hollow core—where he gets stuck and is easily neutralized with a lemon cap.
