In this episode, I go into scripture to explain 3 major areas I believe hinder God's ability to work in our lives and ways that we cause God to be unwilling to receive the worship we offer Him. After reflecting on these things, we also take a look at how the Bible says we are to worship and what kind of worship is acceptable to God. I draw from the Word of God and my own areas of failure that God has exposed in my life to show that we are to follow His commands and not to make up our own minds on things He has made clear for us. I hope this is insightful and encouraging to you!
In this episode, I take a look at what sin is, how it is defined Biblically and understanding its implications in our lives. I follow this up by giving a quick testimony of my own life and go into discussing my latest struggle with sin in the form of making accusations against God in the name of being humble.
Please pay attention to the scriptures and explanations of them in this episode and do some research of your own into the Bible and allow God to expose areas of your life where you need deliverance- and be careful of how you think; that's a lesson I learned the hard way and this episode goes into detail on that. But above all, this episode focuses on God's faithfulness in the midst of our weaknesses and unfaithfulness.
**Editing note- I tried to add intro and outtro music but because of the way it loaded, there's a small chance you may not be able to hear it depending on your personal device. Hopefully it's just a one time issue. Thanks for listening as always!!
In this episode, I focus on what the definition of Hypocrisy is in the dictionary and apply that to Biblical examples of what actually constitutes hypocrisy in a Christian. Then, we apply this to how Christians actually ARE able to judge stuff. Join me in this episode as we look through the truth of God's Word for answers to this controversial topic!
Happy Easter Weekend! As we go into this episode, we will be looking at specifically what scriptures Jesus fulfilled in His life, death and the resurrection that prove He was and is the Biblical Messiah and the actual Son of God. Looking at elements from historical records, biblical prophecy, and good old logical reasoning, I hope this episode makes void whatever doubts anyone may have about the identity and the work of Jesus Christ. Happy Easter and Remember, Christ is Risen!
On this episode, we take a look at the themes and messages of modern pop music taken straight from the Top 10 hit songs this month, both Secular and Christian. We'll examine them and discuss the biblical concepts we need to understand when choosing music to listen to. My hope is by the end of this, you'll have a new or perhaps refreshed understanding of why it is crucial to examine the music we listen to and how to do that. Enjoy and God Bless You!
Here we take a look into why the Gospel of Jesus is objectively true (and the self-refuting nature of theoretical relativism) and using scripture, we will think critically about the evidence that supports Jesus being the Son of God who was crucified and rose from the grave. It's a little in depth on the verses but hopefully, it's either an eye opener or an encouragement to continue keeping the faith!
In this episode, I give a couple of quick updates about my new upload schedule and what's going on with me and then we get straight into it. This episode is going to go into how sexual influences in our society have been forcing themselves on us and how as Christians we are to respond. This is not at all a new problem and I think it's as old as the human race almost but nonetheless, we as believers need to be aware of how to handle this is an increasingly ungodly world as we see the Day of the Lord's return approaching closer and closer. I hope this episode blesses all you who hear it and if you have any suggestions on how I can make these episodes more enjoyable or maybe discuss a topic you wan to hear, email me at ronkelley47@gmail.com!
Thanks and May the Lord Bless you richly!
