Grief can take many forms — the loss of a loved one, the fading of a dream, and the changes in our lives. In this episode, we explore grief not as something to fix or resist, but as something to gently ride the wave of.
Through the R.A.I.N. mindfulness method, we’ll practice a compassionate way to meet grief with awareness and self-kindness — to recognize what’s present, allow what arises, investigate with curiosity, and nurture yourself through it all.
This practice is inspired by a painting from my “Be Here Now” collection — a series created with natural pigments as a meditation on presence and impermanence. One piece, titled “Grief,” reflects how love and loss are forever intertwined, reminding us that even in sorrow, beauty and connection remain.
This meditation is about creating space for love, loss, and healing to coexist — and in that space, finding the possibility of peace.
