Yes, we know that by current standards, the parents make mistakes, but hey, it was the 80s! It was completely normal to send your kid off in a taxi while standing on your porch waving goodbye! This movie has great scares and still holds up today - a true can't-miss horror movie! Paired with a Poltergeist Potion cocktail.
