Medical assisting has become one of the most sought after and recruitable professions. In this podcast we share stories, interviews, cohosts and conversations about medical conditions, our own opinions and the life in medical assisting. In the early 90s when medical assisting first become available to medical practices, this was a very simple position entailed by answering phones, filing and minimal back office skills. Since then much has changed, the medical assistant has become the integral component of any practice. This admirable profession deserves its proper acknowledgment in the ranks.

Just another rant about how important we are and how we need to step back and remember, sometimes it takes a stranger saying the right things to make us realize…
We’ve all wondered at one point, what’s my purpose? Well, we need to step out of our silos and think, what is my purpose. Just cause your in the situation or job your in does not mean that is your purpose, you need to take yourself out of that confine and figure it out.
Such a disappointment that those you work for can be very disrespectful. When you as an employee can not even count on your admin to support you, it is a situation that needs to change.

We are distracted every day. Whether they are good distractions or bad. And how far along do the distractions become before we realize that it’s a compartmentalized issue. We need to remember that the collective mix the whole meaning that a bunch of little things can create one big thing and we need to be aware of this and take care of ourselves.
We need to step back and remember where does that we come from, and pay respect to where it is at those come from. Unfortunately in today’s world ignorance is plentiful. We need to reevaluate ourselves and understand how politics affects our healthcare.
Burnout!!! Holy shit!!! So real! We have to remember the valuable people we are. Today we are surrounded by narcissists, horrible management, lazy coworkers. Some of us cause ourself needless sleepless nights. And some because of responsibility. We have to remember there comes a time when it’s ok to say NO!
Telehealth has become a huge component in todays healthcare. Pre pandemic virtual health was I say in its infancy, now it is on it’s way to adolescents. And as with adolescent behavior, there are issues. How does virtual medicine and telehealth affect you?
Many of us feel stuck in our current workplace or career path. Some of us know we want to do it but don’t have the inner strength to start, or just don’t know where to start or just frightened to even begin the journey. If it hasn’t been for my education, I would not be where I am today. I’m lucky enough that I’ve had the opportunity afforded to me, and recently I’ve had to work harder for it. But this can be done and obtained. You’ve got a real look within yourself and understand who you are and what you really want out of life, and just start the journey.
Hello everybody! This is just a quick update to my Wednesday evenings upload regarding my experience with possible exposure. Don’t worry, things are fine I’m negative. I just wanted to get on here and update like I promised.
