Avoid Overreacting
There are situations when you are not mentally prepared to handle any event. To act differently and wisely, you need a quick mental break before your response. You can never be a wise person if you don’t listen properly before you respond. Similarly, if you follow your emotions without balancing your response with facts and logic, the outcome will not be in your favour or at least not the best for you. A wise person always thinks of a big picture about overall goals and objectives rather than limiting his mind to the event only. Usually, a quick reaction comes when no other options are available in mind. Whereas the reality is that we always have choices. All we need is to consider them and the consequences they can bring, before moving forward. The goal should be to mentally move into the future and look back to your vision of your possible responses. This will make you choose the best response to the current situation.  Remember, you need to act differently. In order to act differently, you need to think before you act. For thinking about the big picture, your goals should be higher than the current event. Sometimes you need preparation to properly respond to an event. In that case, your vision should be clear in advance about the type of event you may be facing so that you can be fully prepared. Always ask yourself, am I reacting? This question will give you a quick mental break. Situations go worse with overreactions. You need to be mindful of that. Once you are motivated to practice better response. The result of this practice will change the whole situation around you. Hope you will start practicing it. Thanks for listening. Stay tuned.

How to be wise.
If you are smart you are running after the opportunities. If you are intelligent you know how to avail these opportunities and turn them into your success. If you are vigilant, you know that there is a catch with every opportunity which may result in a trap. Also if you succeed then there are always problems attached to every success. If you are wise, you will prepare yourself to avoid any traps and upcoming problems. A wise person always keeps multiple plans for every scenario of the situation he is facing. To be wise you need to learn from experiences and mistakes. If you learn from the experiences and mistakes of others you are brilliant. However, if you learn from your own experiences and mistakes you are still a sensible person even though you pay the price of your experience. On the other hand, a fool never tries to learn from mistakes. He never listens and never likes to have a mentor. To be wise you need to consider every single person on this planet as your mentor. If you like to lead, you need to listen first. Asking people whatever you like, without listening to them often leads to a disaster where you may get a terrible lesson. Thanks for listening and stay tuned.

Make a game to respond.
Much of our lives is spent in reaction to others and to the events around us. The problem is that these reactions might not always be the best course of action, and as a result, they can make others unhappy, make things worse for us, ultimately make the whole situation worse. When we react without thinking. It’s a gut reaction, often based on fear and insecurities, and it’s not the most rational or appropriate way to act. Responding, on the other hand, is taking the situation in, and deciding the best course of action based on values such as reality, reason, compassion, cooperation, understanding, etc. Why would we want to make things worse? If another person has made a mistake, make a game of it, show the other person that mistakes happen and that it’s not something to fight on. Then, calmly talk about how to avoid mistakes like that in the future, and give a smile.  This choice presents itself to us all the time, whether it’s our mother nagging us, our co-worker being rude, our husband not being kind enough, and so on. There will always be external events that bother us, but if we learn to respond and not just react, we can make things better and not worse. We will continue discussing this in our next episode. Stay Tuned. Thanks for listening.

Preparation of a better Respond
Podcast 4. Most of the time in emergency situations we often tend to react rather than respond. This happens usually when we’re stressed out or we don’t like to slow down ourselves. While responding sounds like a slow choice. Obviously, in a crisis or emergency situation, it seems logical that we need to react in a second with a decisive mode. It can be challenging to be mindful when we are on autopilot-mode to react.  However, the reality is that the best crisis managers, emergency management officials, firefighters, doctors and even sales professionals are specifically trained and practice various scenarios so they can respond rather than react. The difference is in preparation and thought. In other words, it does not mean you will be slow, just thoughtful and prepared.  All you need to consider is a pause in between the event and your reaction. This should be right at the moment you recognize your stress in any situation. Immediately, take a deep breath and note any emotions coming up, or the story you’re creating in your head, and what behaviour you will now be engaging in with your response. The more that you pause, the more you will respond mindfully.  There is a short practice you can do everyday day whenever anything goes wrong in order to step into that space between the event and response. This practice is called S. T. O. P.  The way it works is whenever you feel anything small goes wrong in your daily routine, you need to first Stop, Think and take a breath then Observe all your emotions and feelings for a moment then Proceed with patience. In this S. T. O.P. practice, you will start to empower your brain to handle any difficult situation. There are a lot more ideas and practices we will be discussing in our next podcast. Please stay tuned. Thanks for listening.

Understanding Situation
Podcast 3. Any situation is a set of events. There is no doubt that the situation and people affect our mood and happiness. However, we need to know that the outcome of any situation depends not only on the event but also on our response. E plus R equal to O. Where E stands for the event, R for response and O for the outcome. If we need a better outcome of any situation, the first thing we need to understand is that two forces exist in any situation. External forces and internal forces. We can always use our internal forces to handle our situation in a better way. That will lead to a better outcome of that situation. The most important thing is to realize that, in any situation, always respond rather than react. There is a clear difference between reacting and responding. A reaction is usually emotional without much thought. It is quick. There is frustration, anger and negativity in a reaction. Whereas a response is calm and thought out. It is without annoyance. There is compassion that impacts everyone's mood at that moment and later affects our wellness for a longer period. Responding mindfully is the most important skill that we need to learn to win any situation. It is required not only to handle the situation without annoyance or panic but also to get a better outcome of it. My next podcast will give you more ideas and practices about turning a negative situation into a positive outcome. Please do not miss it. Thanks for listening.

Reality of life
Podcast 2. Life is full of surprises. Good times and bad times. There are moments of joy and victory when we forget our problems and failures. But time never stays the same. It is always changing. We often forget to plan for a bad time. Then all of a sudden something happens unexpectedly that changes everything upside down. Stress, depression, anxiety and fear take over our happiness. We start blaming everyone in the whole world. We start losing our strength and productivity. That takes our life in even more problems and losing more opportunities and happiness. This state of life can be for a longer period of time and even forever. No one will help us at this stage if we will not have a proper plan to get out of this situation. There are simple basic rules to turn this entire negative situation in our favor. My next podcasts are about these practices that can change your life forever. Don’t miss it. Thanks for listening.
