She's just 32. But her journey into leadership, environmental justice and estate planning has roots into her childhood. Watson says her early life forced her to grind early.
She recalls even as a teenager, taking her check to cover utilities before her siblings came home from school.
This motivated her even while experiencing homelessness to get her Masters Degree. In her words, she had to get it because no one else would.
Ms. Watson is a testament of turning survival mode into long-term opportunities.
This interview holds back nothing as we cover peaks and valleys in her life. But not only that, we shed a spotlight on food deserts and how redlining impacts black and brown neighborhoods.
