Must Have Contract Clauses for Wedding Planners
Your contract is your business speaking for you. In this video, I walk you through the must-have clauses that every wedding planning contract should include. A great contract is more than just legal protection — it’s a roadmap for you, your clients, and your business. When done right, it creates confidence on both sides and sets the foundation for a successful relationship. Some of the key points I cover include: Overview of Client Desires – How to outline broad strokes (season, guest count, priorities, color palette, level of production) so expectations are crystal clear. Planner’s Process – Detailing the unbreakable steps you follow, from venue and vendor selection to design and execution. Client Responsibilities – Ensuring couples understand their role in communication, payments, and decision-making. Cancellation & Termination Clauses – Protecting yourself and the client when plans change. Intellectual Property & Social Media – Who owns images, designs, and how content can be shared. Non-Disparagement & Confidentiality – Safeguarding your reputation and protecting client privacy. Whether you’re a planner, vendor, or client, this video will help you understand how contracts serve as both shield and structure in the wedding industry. ✨ Celebrating life, luxury, and above all else, love. #WeddingPlanner #Contracts #WeddingBusiness #andreaeppolito

The Importance of Storytelling + Communication
Storytelling and communication are the heart of extraordinary weddings and events. In this episode, I explore how storytelling connects us to our clients—positioning them as the hero of their celebration—and how communication ensures we deliver on that promise together as an industry. From planners and photographers to venues, DJs, and florists, every creative partner has a role to play in telling the couple’s story and in communicating before, during, and after the event. You’ll hear why communication isn’t just external, client-facing service, but also internal, vendor-facing collaboration that guarantees seamless execution. When we combine powerful storytelling with intentional communication, we don’t just create weddings—we create legacies. ✨ Celebrating life, luxury, and above all else, love. #LuxuryWeddings #WeddingPlanner #EventProfs #AndreaEppolito

Not Everyone Knows How to Spend $1 Million Effectively
Not every wedding planner knows how to spend $1 million effectively. In this video, I share why managing a seven-figure wedding budget requires more than just taste and style — it demands strategy, foresight, and discipline. Money alone doesn’t guarantee luxury; it’s how that money is allocated, layered, and leveraged that transforms an event into a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I’ll break down the difference between spending lavishly and spending wisely, and why true luxury is about intentional design, not just expensive decisions. Whether you’re a planner, photographer, venue, or vendor, understanding how to maximize value at this level is essential to serving today’s ultra-high-net-worth couples. ✨ Celebrating life, luxury, and above all else, love. 📌 Subscribe for more insights on luxury weddings, design, and the business of extraordinary experiences. #LuxuryWeddings #WeddingPlanner #MillionDollarWedding #AndreaEppolito

Be Nice. The Power of Kindness
In this episode, wedding planner Andrea Eppolito shares a personal and professional story that illustrates a foundational truth in luxury business: Being nice pays off — personally, professionally, and reputationally. Years ago, Andrea spoke with a couple who was newly engaged and exploring their options for a wedding planner. As it turned out, the fit wasn’t quite right. Their timing, vision, and budget didn’t align with the highly customized, high-touch experience that defines Andrea’s work. And so, they moved on. Fast forward to today: That same couple just signed on to work with Andrea — not for a wedding, but for a vow renewal. Not only did they remember her style, her brand, and the events she’s known for, but what stood out the most was how she made them feel when they originally reached out. She didn’t dismiss them. She didn’t talk down to them. She didn’t rush them off the phone or treat them like they weren’t “good enough.” Instead, she listened. She educated. She explained her value with clarity and kindness — and even offered helpful guidance for their journey. That moment stayed with them. Because decency stays with people. In this episode, Andrea explores why being kind, respectful, and present — even with those who aren’t your “ideal client” — is not just a good human move, but a savvy business one. She shares how the luxury space requires a long-game mindset, where how you handle a “no” matters just as much as how you close a “yes.” She also offers 5 actionable strategies for handling calls and inquiries from people who may not align with your pricing, process, or aesthetic — without ever compromising your standards or your brand. 1. Listen First, Filter Second. Give people the space to share. Let them speak without rushing to conclusions. Often, what they say can help you better understand how to serve — or gracefully exit. 2. Lead with Education. Use the call to explain who you are, what you do, and how you work. That positioning often does the heavy lifting for you, helping the client recognize whether or not you're the right fit — without anyone feeling rejected. 3. Stand Firm in Your Standards, with Grace. Luxury isn’t for everyone, and that’s okay. There’s a powerful way to say, “This isn’t the right match,” without ever making someone feel lesser for trying. 4. Leave Them Better Than You Found Them. Whether it's a referral, a helpful blog post, or a kind word — offer something. Even a small gift of your expertise creates goodwill that lasts. 5. Understand Every Call is a Brand Touchpoint. Whether they hire you now, later, or never — people will remember how you treated them. And in the world of high-end service, reputation is everything. This episode is a love letter to the values that sustain long-term success in a luxury business. It’s about playing the long game. About understanding that today’s “not yet” could become tomorrow’s “absolutely.” And about honoring the fact that every person who reaches out — no matter where they are in their journey — deserves respect. Andrea reminds us that high standards and kindness are not mutually exclusive. You can run an elevated, aspirational business and be deeply human. In fact, in today’s increasingly automated, fast-paced world, that humanity is the luxury. Tune in to hear Andrea’s candid reflections, actionable advice, and her take on what it really means to build a brand that lasts — by being nice, being gracious, and being unforgettable. Running a Luxury Wedding Business Like a Business in 2025
Why Running a Luxury Wedding Business Like a Business Matters In the world of luxury weddings, creativity and artistry are essential—but without a strong business foundation, even the most talented professionals will struggle to succeed. Operating at the highest level means understanding that luxury is not just about aesthetics; it’s about structure, strategy, and professionalism. A solid contract protects both you and your clients, ensuring clear expectations, deliverables, and boundaries. Without one, you risk scope creep, last-minute demands, and financial losses. A strategic pricing model ensures that your fees reflect not just the time you spend planning but also the expertise, creativity, and problem-solving skills that high-net-worth clients expect. Instead of guessing or copying competitors, pricing should be based on the real value you provide. And most importantly, communicating your value with confidence is what sets true luxury professionals apart. High-net-worth clients aren’t just paying for a service—they’re investing in an experience, a seamless process, and a trusted advisor who can turn their vision into reality. Luxury isn’t just about what you create—it’s about how you operate. And running your business with the same precision and excellence that you bring to your events? That’s what truly sets you apart.
