Unfortunately the first episode's audio didn't save, but we have continued on with the story and will do our best to retell the events of the first episode in as many ways as we can. The party, having met in Prison Camp 3, was sentenced to wear a mark and go collect shards of the sun in order to pay off their debt to society. The Gate Keepers finish their journey to the Dwarven home world of Drazo'Ber'Tala. Harold offers his services to the leader of the Dwarves, Hector Urvak; a gentleman he met once in the company of Eythor Falcox. Harold wanted to attempt to find a cure for the disease that had affected only the womenfolk of the Dwarves. The Gate Keepers finish exploring the moon elf ship, finding some mysterious cards along the way; cards meant for reading fortunes, or foretelling the future. Onibath reads the cards and shares what she reads. Afterwards the crew decides they must destroy the tree, and they set about to do just that. Astryn talks to the tree locked away aboard the Ban'Duar. It reveals it wants peace, but what does the tree mean by peace? A ghost speaks with Harold; who helps the ghost remember something. The ghost is worried about what the tree will do. The Gate Keepers intercept a distress signal from a ship requesting aid. The ship appears to be on the way to their destination and decide to help whoever is on board this ship. They arrive to find that there seems to be no life aboard the vessel, and after landing in the ships docking bay and ascending to the upper levels, discover something terrible happened. Astryn and Zarkhan explore the lower deck while Harold and Vega find the bridge. After the battle with the Lunar Dragon and the Lunar Devil, the Gate Keepers find themselves dealing with a peculiar situation; Harold's 'alter ego'? Perhaps his literal inner demon? The Gate Keepers meet a mischievous character who is pretending to haunt the old training grounds of Vega's monastic order. It turns out this imp is Onibath, someone mentioned in the book Vega took from Saia's office. She has been stuck on Esko 5, bound to something. The party attempts to help her as best they can, but Onibath starts some trouble. Combat ensues. The Gate Keepers travel from Ralza'Kahn's palace to the small village of Hadavs where Astryn once crashed landed her ship. The party is shown much hospitality from the inhabitants of the village and asked to look into what has been causing some disturbances in the area. The party travels to the site of the crash to recover data from Astryn's ship, and anything else she had that was valuable that had survived scavengers. The Gate Keepers travel to Esko 5, the moon monastery where Vega trained to become a monk, to learn more about Gate Keepers from the library of the Stormulfar. Upon entering the moons shallow atmosphere the Bastard Star is attacked by three starfish-like creatures, and the party must fend them off. Astryn is teleported to another dimension to speak with a messenger sent by Astraltpia before being returned to the moon; now with a task from the goddess. While in Shenta's Keep the party looks for ways to disguise their newest member's armor and looks for robot parts; after which they begin their journey to Ralza'Kahn's palace. Ralza'Kahn is most pleased that Astryn has returned with the one he was searching for, and forgives her debt, but Arduon is still a prisoner of a powerful crime lord. Vega has a private conversation with Saia, Ralza'Kahn's majordomo, and works a deal. Venturing forth through the vast expanses of space, the party leaves Worgixeara behind as they set out to settle the matter of Astryn's debt to the crime boss Ralza'Kahn. The party uses the map provided by Twyn to locate the possible location of the Seed of Magic. After a watery distraction and squeezing through some narrow passages, the party finds a chamber with a hidden lever that leads to a hidden room. The Priest of Astraltpia shared a vision with the party members who had traversed the temple's trials. The vision showed the beginning of the gods, and the origin of Craystar and why he had become driven to destruction. The vision also shared details about the deal Astraltpia had made with Craystar. Not completely satisfied with the information of the vision, Astryn asked to speak to the goddess herself, and made a deal with her. Astryn and Vega duke it out with a shambling mound before continuing their journey through the temple. The Party faces off against a griffon, but makes short work of it, impressing the stranger they had met moments prior. Twyn the Merry called and told them to stand by in a nearby cave that just so happened to be the hiding spot for a travel plinth.
