Land ahoy! Seasickness and mild hypothermia forgotten, the Earth Touch crew finally gets to explore Antarctica and glimpse the day-to-day lives of the animals that inhabit this incredibly harsh environment (look out for nest thievery and penguin highways). And what’s the best way to end off a trip to the frozen continent? A snowball fight, of course.
The Earth Touch crew is nearing its destination. What separates them now from the icy shores of Antarctica are a few seal colonies governed by some very territorial males, huddles of penguins in their thousands and one more tussle with that unpredictable Southern Ocean.
After dodging a few icebergs, the crew hits the rocky beaches of South Georgia … and they quickly discover what happens on an island that has no major land predators. Get ready for penguin overload and some extremely friendly (and photogenic) seals!
