The Charge of The Sent
Pastor Gradi kicks off our new series Mission Minded with a stirring challenge from Matthew 10:1-15. Jesus is sending us out just as He sent the apostles, and He never asks us to do what He Himself has not already done. That is why He is the perfect mediator. God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called, and this is what it means to live mission minded. Pastor Gradi brings the apostles’ story to life in a relatable way, showing that we are called to preach the gospel not only with words but through action. Don’t fear rejection, if they listen, give God the glory. If they don’t, shake it off and keep moving. Some plant, others water, but the Lord gives the growth. Our focus isn’t on those who turn away but on those who are being saved. This is the charge of the sent, bold, urgent, and unstoppable.

Authority in Action
In this insightful and theologically rich sermon, MK unpacks Matthew 9:1-8 with three core truths: Point one, you can’t do Christianity alone. Point two, only Jesus does what God can do. Point three, Jesus has authority to forgive sin because He is God. From there, MK dives into five reasons why Christ’s forgiveness is so vital: 1) Forgiveness is humanity’s deepest need. 2) His authority to forgive proves His divine identity. 3) No other religious system offers forgiveness through the personal act of God. 4) Salvation is found exclusively in Jesus. 5) His forgiveness brings not only pardon, but reconciliation with God and the promise of eternal life. Even the Demons Know
In this eye-opening and powerful sermon, Tara Smith unpacks Matthew 8:28-34 where Jesus confronts two demon-possessed men. Point one: Even the demons know who Jesus is they recognise His authority instantly. Point two: They acknowledge Him as the great redeemer, knowing the power and judgement He carries. And point three: Even the demons know how easily distracted we are this can be seen in the text where the pigs running off a cliff steal our attention from a miraculous deliverance. Tara challenges us to not just know of Jesus, but to truly follow Him, undistracted and anchored in truth.
