Here’s Part 2 of my 2025 Year-End mix, Bakunawa, the ancient serpent of eclipse and renewal. This set marks the moment of crossing: 2025 devoured, 2026 emerging. Not destruction, but transformation. A ritual for release, movement and stepping into what comes next.

Here’s Part 1 of my 2025 Year-End mix, an all-women mixed-genre set that i have not done in over a year after focusing primarily on house and techno. This return is guided by Diwata, the mythical female spirit representing power, intuition, nature and divine feminine energy. This mix is a tribute to women as creators, muses and forces of movement, fluid across genres and unapologetic in presence.

The world shifts and with it rises Lakapati, the fluid deity of life and becoming. Neither man nor woman, neither fixed nor defined, Lakapati moves through form and feeling, reminding us that strength can be soft and beauty can be boundless. This house set is inspired by Lakapati, a tribute to bodies that evolve, identities that defy gravity and stories that continue even when the world tries to silence them. In observance of World AIDS Day, we honor every journey, each one shaping the pulse of HIV awareness. The album cover draws from the Red Whistle and Headshot Clinic’s WAD2025 campaign - AMORPHOUS - echoing a truth we all carry: we are fluid, ever-changing and never less whole.

This funky, vocal, disco and tech house set is inspired by Mayari, a tribute to the night’s charm, to the beats that heal when the world quiets down, and to the energy that connects us under one pulse. This also marks my official comeback as Balatik, the storyteller reborn under Manila’s lights. Working on a series of recorded live sets true to my identity as Balatik, blending house and techno with the spirit of Philippine folklore and mythology. The journey begins with Bathala. Before all things, there was only darkness. Then Bathala struck the first beat, and light, sky, and life began to move until the rhythm would one day call it all back into silence.
