"Every event has two handles, one by which it can be carried, and one by which it can't."—Epictetus
There are going to be things in your day to day life that simply do not warrant a reaction.
In the quote at the top, Epictetus famously referred to every situation having 2 handles.
One that can carry the load and one that cannot.
There will always be justification to involve yourself in every dispute, argument, disagreement, fight or melee.
But do you have to?
Protect your future self, choose the right handle.
Thank you for your time friend.
