This episode was recorded a little differently so sorry for any differences or incontinuities. We had to talk on Zoom from different locations instead of both in studio. But what matters most, is we still spent damn near 2.5 hours discussing this glorious episode. Listen in as we break down arguably one of the best episodes of the series. A big secret is revealed and causes everyone to dish out some real talk and do some big thinking about this wedding! From forehead kisses to kitchen fights to Jeremiah truths revealed... and Belly trying desperately to keep it altogether this plot MOVED and it was so rewarding. The big reveal at the end was everything! We are so excited to share our thoughts and takes on Last Kiss!

Fact Check: Joshua Jackson not in Free Willy.
In this episode of the podcast, we spend some time diving into where we are at this season so far of The Better With Glasses Podcast. We are getting closer to the end and wanted to take a moment to plug some giveaways and thank our fans. We also previewed a bit of how this next episode recap will go.
Most importantly, we predict what we think might happen in the next episode (Episode 8 of Season 3). There are so many book moments and plot points we think the writers will keep from the original text and we're excited to see everything leading up to the realization that this wedding should be called off!
*May contain book and/or show spoilers*What a big episode and we're here to break it all down scene by scene. We will also compare the infamous beach fight to it's counterpart in We'll Always Have Summer and some other book-to-show changes because these are BIG. Episode 7 of Season 3 of 'The Summer I Turned Pretty' has got the light-heartedness that we love and is FINALLY set all in Cousins. It's got shenanigans and debauchery as Tay Tay calls it. But moreover, for better or for worse, it's got Belly tied up in knots over Conrad and Jeremiah - one of whom she's marrying. The episode is fun and fast only to end in heartbreak for damn near everyone. Belly's voice is back and so is Taylor Swift singing softly in the background.
Are we getting the bachelor / bachelorette party? Do we end with a heart-wrenching confession of love on the beach? Is there Conrad/Steven bonding? And what will it be like with everyone back in Cousins at the same time?
In this episode of the podcast we are sharing our thoughts on the latest episode of The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3, Last Name. This was such a fun episode seeing the Fisher boys together, Belly's bachelorette and of course, Belly's reunion with Laurel and THE surf cut scene. It was so well done as an adaption with upgrades everywhere that felt so true to the show. It was so fun and the one-liners are so good!
In this episode of the podcast, we are gearing up for Episode 6. Cannot believe we're just about at the halfway point! We are expecting some apartment hunting from Jeremiah and Belly as Belly rushes off to Boston to avoid Conrad's passionate peach-scene glances? And now that Adam is paying for the wedding, what does that mean for Belly's dreams? And what happens once Jeremiah finds out about Kayleigh - or will he? There's a lot that could happen. Let's chat!
New podcast all about the Conrad Fisher mini movie is out (aka 'Last Dance'). This was the directing debut of Jenny Han and THE peach scene episode and Conrad's POV. It's full of unexpected twists on the original text that are delivered in a way no one was ready for. Listen in as we discuss Every. Single. Scene. for two hours!!!
Hey everyone... we are so excited about this next episode of 'The Summer I Turned Pretty' Season 3. We all think it is going to be the Conrad POV episode with his narration. It will likely be sad but with some great present-day scenes spliced in. And while we have our hopes up for things we'd like to see, I think we are even more excited about the new twists on the material as we see Jeremiah and Belly navigate wedding planning apart and Belly living with Conrad (presumably).
There are just so many lovely thoughts about this episode. We were so excited to rewatch and discuss these scenes. There is a lot to unpack as we watch Belly's grief, Jelly trying to stand their ground and gain support for their decision and of course, Conrad coming in with the biggest sacrifice/romantic gesture I think we've seen to date. It hits us in the feels and this episode is the true return to Cousins and the rollercoaster with heart that we've come to love about the series.
We're back again before Episode 4 of Season 3 of 'The Summer I Turned Pretty.' Let's discuss where we think episode 4 picks up and where we end up by the end. Will there be a Taylor Swift song? What is going on in Conrad's head that makes him STAY after all that? How heartbreaking are Laurel/Belly scenes going to be? We're gonna dissect it all.
This was such a hard watch no matter who you root for! From Belly's insane development to Conrad's worst nightmare come true to Adam Fisher antics... only to be left with bewildered parents, an embarrassed Jeremiah, hopeless Belly and a broken Connie baby. The rollercoaster is back and you know what... we're ok. We're sad and tortured but its gonna be okay.

Where do we go next after Conrad gets fired, Steven is physically and emotionally on the mend and Belly/Jeremiah are engaged? Well, if we are correct, we're all on our way back to Cousins. Most of us are going to celebrate a memorial dedication for Susannah but some of us are running away from home? And possibly an attempt to face their feelings, ahem, Conrad. Listen in because we're so excited!

The only thing better about one episode is two episodes!!! This episode is now lovingly called the Ballad of Med Student No. 1. We are so excited to discuss our scene, this very dramatic episode & of course, Bonrad Christmas in Cousins Pt. 2. This is a rough watch especially because we care for all of these characters so much but we're here to break down every tear, every apology, every flashback and the big proposal.
