If you were a theatre kid in high school, chances are you play D&D! Why is that? Is there some sort of pipeline to it?----------Music provided by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 4.0 License http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0

Their are two ways of leveling up in Dungeons and Dragons. One of them is milestone leveling, where if you hit certain points in the campaign you level up. The other one is experience leveling, where each monster has as set amount of experience you gain that you get when beating the monster! Which one is better?

It can be hard to fully get into the mind of your monsters. You might get scared of killing your players or targeting one over the other. But... you shouldn't! The monsters have to eat!

Turns out, everyone has different expectations of how D&D should go. One person might be looking at more combat while another might be in for silly roleplay. Higher beings are important to any D&D campaign! I mean, Clerics basically wouldn't exist if they didn't have some sort of higher power. Warlocks would just be magic-less sugar babies without their patrons! Join us as we discuss all things Gods and Prophecies!

Let's face it, A DM has a really difficult job. They plan every session, play every NPC, keep track of the plot, deal with the plot going off track, the list goes on and on! It's very probably that your DM has suffered a lot of burnout. How can you help a DM deal with that?

Every characters starts with an idea. That idea then turns into a story. That story is what drives your character in game to do stuff! So you gotta come up with a backstory in order to get your adventurers "Why"! But how long should that be?

Everyone has seen the meme about alignment charts. Nine Squares arranged in three rows and three columns. You got Lawful, Neutral, and Chaotic across the top. Then you have Good, Neutral, and Evil along the side. What does that even mean and does it really matter in the end? Why should we care about morale alignments in our fantasy world anyway? Well... maybe you should, maybe you shouldn't. Find out on this episode of Beyond the Tavern Wall!
