In this episode of BLTN!
This is the very first BLTN! Shorts, a shorter version of the Better Late Than Never! Podcast, where I drop in quickly with a few thoughts... but it still ended up being over 30 mins long. lol
Today's thoughts: Original VR, human borders and boundaries.
In our daily lives, we talk a lot about personal boundaries to maintain a healthy living.
In this episode, I dive deeper into the topic to reflect on what 'borders' and 'boundaries' mean in our collective lives.
I go from learning Kendo in Japan to a crowded train station in Yokohama, where I saw a salaryman practicing his golf swings, and then to sports fields, to corporate offices... exploring how we humans draw lines (literally and figuratively) that shape our lives.
From the invisible borders in games to the very real borders (physical or metaphysical) of countries, companies, religions, and philosophies, I share the importance of recognizing these boundaries, and what happens when we forget they exist.
We also get into globalization, nationalism, rubber bands, and why connecting with people outside our own domain... and respecting our differences....whether over a meal, while playing sports, making & playing music, or enjoying art together, just might be the key to maintaining peace and avoiding unnecessary conflicts.
Thank you for being here.
And remember.. it’s Better Late Than Never…!
You deserve the best.
We deserve the best.
Have a wonderful day, night, wherever you are.
Love and gratitude,
Kit
