Ep. 3
In this 3rd episode, I open up about what it really means to return to creativity at 46, after a decade-long hiatus.
From my childhood art classes in Yokohama to American subcultures of the 90s, from skater culture, hiphop, hc/punk/metal shows, also my own band, coffee house gigs playing acoustic guitar + harmonica, and economic studies to battling perfectionism, procrastination, and identity crisis - I share a bunch of stuff.
As usual, bear with me as I go all over the place, but it will make sense at the end! (I hope lol)

This isn’t just my story.. it's about how any of us at any age can start over...anytime...if we allow ourselves.
I reflect on growing up in Japan, adapting to the life in the US, and how shifting perspectives can lead to peace, purpose, and unexpected transformation.
I share my bag of tricks on practicing Mental Judo daily, and how it can improve all of our lives, while tackling difficult subjects like toxic masculinity, war, and our shared humanity and the deep-rooted desire for a more compassionate and freer world.
Whether you're an artist, thinker, or just someone trying to find their way - this one’s for you.
It’s unedited and kinda all over the place.. but hey, it's real.
And...let's remember...it’s better late than never!
Thank you for stopping by.
You are awesome.
You deserve the best.
We deserve the best.
See you next time.
Love,
Kit
