In this episode, I talk about gratitude and how it reshapes everything we think we need. 

I share what I have seen moving between Long Island and Tokyo, places full of material abundance yet full of people who feel stressed, lonely, or overwhelmed. 

I explore the illusion of ownership, the weight of having too much, and how hedonic adaptation makes us numb to the very things we work so hard to collect.

I also reflect on community, disappearing social bonds, and how identity itself becomes a habit when we never question it.

This one is about subtracting instead of adding, seeing clearly, and remembering that gratitude is a powerful way back to living with a deeper sense of peace.

NOTE: Hedonic Adaptation is the correct term, not hedonistic adaptation ;)
